About South LoopMost of the area south of Congress Parkway and east of the Chicago River, possibly with the exception of the printer's Row, is referred to the South Loop. The neighborhood of the southern boundary is discussed. At the same time as the southern boundary of the area of Roosevelt Road, the term "South Loop" is often used to describe the area, which extends as far south as the 18th street or Čermák Road. Many shops south of Roosevelt Road with "South Loop" in its name a hint that this more generous definition may be to get approval. The more narrowly defined area includes River City, north of Dearborn Park, part of State Street, Wabash Avenue and Michigan Avenue. The more generous definitions include the development of the Central Station, Dearborn Park II, the Prairie District, Chinatown, and even the growth of the North.
